Club Rules & Regulations

All guests must sign in at the Golf Shop prior to using any golf facility. Guests were encouraged to call the golf shop if they have any questions about their visit to the club. Treating the club's staff and fellow members of the club in a respectful manner is of paramount importance.

Slow play will be viewed as disrespectful and disruptive to other golfers. A round of golf for a foursome at Long Island National Golf Club should be completed in less than 4 hours. Golfers who are not able to maintain the pace of play, or that have a hole open, must invite golfers behind them to play through. Pace of play rules may also be enforced by an assigned club employee.

Members, member’s guests, and juniors using any of the golf facilities, including the driving range and putting green, must wear apparel appropriate to the game of golf.

Caps or hats worn on Club grounds must have the brim facing forward. Men should remove their hats when using the indoor dining facilities.

Golfers are required to wear non-metal spiked or spikeless golf shoes while using any of the golf facilities. Non-metal spiked and spikeless golf shoes are permitted in the Clubhouse and dining facilities during hours of operation for breakfast and lunch service.

All cellular phones and electronic devices must be kept on vibrate or silent mode at all times while on the Club property. Non-verbal use of cellular phones and electronic devices is permitted on the Club property. Verbal use of cellular phones is only permitted in the Locker Rooms and Parking Lot. Rules for cellular phones and electronic devices may change during tournament play. Playing music from Bluetooth speakers is permitted on the golf course as long as the sound of the music is only audible immediately adjacent to the golf cart.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the interior of the Clubhouse or any other building of the Club. Smoking is also not permitted on any of the patios. All smoking materials must be disposed of in an appropriate manner on the golf course, driving range, putting green or practice facility.
